The Georgetown Green Film Series will screen “The River and the Wall,” a film about one group’s travels along the U.S.–Mexico border by horse, mountain bike, and canoe. With both a political and environmental lens, the film addresses what the border means and how it affects both humans and wildlife.
Doors open at 5 pm, with screening at 5:30, followed by a panel discussion with the film’s producers and a reception. The event is sponsored by the Southwestern University Environmental Studies program.
