Huston-Tillotson University is sponsoring a forum on environmental equality in our community, featuring: a panel of community organizations, including Austin Youth Riverwatch, Cooperation Texas, and the Texas Campaign for the Environment, moderated by Dominique Bowman of HT; a presentation on environmental justice and Austin’s demographic shifts by University of Texas professor Eric Tang; a workshop on consensus building led by Rockie Gonzalez; and a workshop on community environmental information available online with the Environmental Protection Agency. HT students with Green is the New Black will give campus tours, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.
